Why a double band
It gives the presence of two stacked rings without the movement or rubbing of wearing two separate pieces. The rows are joined in a single ring, so nothing turns.
Width without height
Doubling the row gives the band width without making it sit higher on the finger, so it stays comfortable for daily wear.
