Colored sapphires
Sapphire is a variety of corundum and, beyond blue, it occurs in pink, yellow, green and violet. All share the same hardness, 9 on the Mohs scale, so a colored sapphire necklace holds up well to daily wear. Any treatment of the stones is disclosed before purchase.
How to wear it
Color runs through the whole piece, so it complements what you wear instead of competing with it. Wear it alone so the full color sequence can be seen.
Sapphire, the September birthstone
Traditionally associated with wisdom, loyalty and nobility. With hearts, it is an especially personal gift for a September birthday.
It comes with its Celide certification: a certificate with images and full stone specifications, or a card with the name of the piece and its carat weight, depending on the piece.
