This necklace carries a ruby on a delicate chain, in a solitaire setting that lets the color of the stone take center stage.

Ruby is one of the four classic precious stones, alongside diamond, sapphire and emerald. It is prized for a red that ranges from pinkish to deep crimson and for its hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale. Any treatment is disclosed before purchase.
